Our Adventurer of the week, Masilynn, shared some pictures with us.
Today is our drop off and pick up day. If you would like to bring something for the mini-mall please bring it today. We have 26 students in our class to share with. Also, bring the work I listed in the blog. Here is the list again, just in case you need it.
Math - any math assignements that you have completed. If they are in your book, take them out and keep the book.
Reading - any reading assignements that have been completed. This includes your Native American workbook, your listening and learning book about Native Americans, questions you have answered and graphic organizers.
Skills: Any skills pages we have completed from Unit 8.
Art: You clay pot pictures. I would like to put these in your data binders.
***Please keep your Explorer's Notebook and all of the pages that go with it at home. You will still need these up until May 8. Also keep your Listening and Learning booklet at home for the Explorers unit. Keep all of the workbooks and math book also.
The time for the drop off is between 9:30 and 11:00. Come to our outside door again.

Welcome: We have an amazing week ahead of us. Let's get started.
Reading: We are reading chapter 5 called "El Castillo de San Marcos". You will need activity 5.2, page 45 from your Unit 9 workbook. Have this ready and click here to get started with pre reading activity. Next, click here to read the chapter. Finally, click here to finish the writing.
Math: You will be doing some activities with perimeter. First click here for the video to show you the worksheets you will need to complete this activity. Then click here to get intstructions on how to do each page. You have several pages to do. Do what you can. If you do not finish them all, that is OK. Just do your best.
Listening and Learning: We will learn about Hernando de Soto. He is another explorer that came from Spain. You will need your Listen and Learn booklet. Click here for the introduction. Next, click here to hear the lesson.
You will now need your Explorer's Notebook and another Explorer Passport page. You will also need scissors, glue, crayons and a pencil. Click here for this part of the lesson.
