***I would like you to do the listening and learning activity today before you do your reading. This will give you some background to help with reading.
Reading: For reading today we are reading chapter 6, "Coronado Reports to the King". You will need to get your Explorer's Workbook and the two pages from your packet. Click here to see the pages. Click here for the pre reading activity. Click here to read the chapter. For the activity in your Explorer's Workbook, you will the two papers you have out ready to go. You will need scissors and glue along with a pencil. Click here to complete the activity.
Math: Today, you will be doing lesson 11.4 in the Interactive Student Edition on gomath. Complete this online. Click on the gomath link, choose chapter 11 and then lesson 11l4. You will now begin learning about what the area of an object is and how to find the area of an object. You will be comparing area and perimeter.
Listen and Learning: We will learn about an explorer named Francisco Vasquez de Coronado. He was an explorer from Spain.
