Mrs. Whetman's 3rd Grade Adventurers

Our next drop off and pick up is on Monday, May 4.  Here are some items I would like you to return on this next drop off.

Math - any math assignements that you have completed.  If they are in your book, take them out and keep the book.

Reading - any reading assignements that have been completed.  This includes your Native American workbook, your listening and learning book about Native Americans, questions you have answered and graphic organizers.

Skills:  Any skills pages we have completed from Unit 8.

Art:  You clay pot pictures.  I would like to put these in your data binders.

***Please keep your Explorer's Notebook and all of the pages that go with it at home.  You will still need these up until May 8.  Also keep your Listening and Learning booklet at home for the Explorers unit.  Keep all of the workbooks and math book also.

Reading:  For reading today, we will read chapter 4, Navigation in the Age of Exploration".  You will need activity 4.1, page 33 out of your unit 9 workbook.  Click here for the pre reading activity.  Next, click here to read chapter 4.  Finally, click here to complete the worksheet.  Try to spend some more time today reading in a book of your choice.  Keep Reading!!!!

Skills:  We will review the prefixes pro- and anti-.  You will need activity 4.3, page 37 in your unit 9 workbook.  Click here for the activity.  Here is the video to correct your work.

Math:  We will do lesson 11.3 in your math books today.  Go to pages 637 - 642.  First, click here to do pages 637-639.  Click here to finish the lesson and get your assignment.  Finally, click here to check your practice page.
