Reading: To begin, you will need your Explorer's Notebook. Turn to the page with the wheel. We are going to add another reason why explorers came to the Americas. Click here for the activity.
Next, get your Unit 9 workbook and go to activity 3.1, page 17. Click here to read the chapter.
Math: We are doing lesson 11.3 in the Interactive Student Edition. You will contintue to learn about perimeter. Go the gomath, click on chapter 11, then lesson 11.3. Go through the lesson.
Listening and Learning: We will learn about an explorer Named Juan Ponce de Leon. He was from Spain. First, you will need to get your Listening and Learning booklet out. Turn to page 3. Click here for the pre reading activity. Next, click here for the lesson. After you have listened to the lesson, click here to correct your booklet.
The next part of our lesson will require you to get your Explorers Notebook. You will also need an Explorer Passport page. To do the activity you will need scissors, pencil, glue stick and crayons. When you are ready, click here to begin.
