Welcome:  Here we are at the end of the week!  Let's get started.

Reading:  We are reading the last chapter for unit 8 today.  It will be chapter 7, "Yutu, the Dog Trainer".  This will be the last chapter we will read, but you are welcome to read any other chapters that you would like.  We will not do a graphic organizer for this reading, but we will do a quick draw.  Get one of the graphic organizers we have finished and turn it over to the back side and use that for this quick draw.  You will also need activity 7.1, page 55 in your unit 8 workbook.  Click here for your pre reading activity.
Next, read chapter 7 and answer the questions on activity 7.1.
Finally, click here to correct your answers.

Skills:  For the skills activity you will need to get your unit 8 workbook and get activity 10.2, pg. 95, and 10.3, page 97.  Have them ready to do this lesson.  Click here to start.

Math:  We are going to start a new unit today.  The lesson I would like you to do today is in chapter 11, lesson 11.1.  You will do this on the Interactive student edition on gomath.  Click on gomath, click on chapter 11, then click on lesson 11.1.  You will be learing about perimeter today.  

Listening and Learning:  We will continue in our Ancinet Native Americans workbook.  You will turn to the page titled "Fun Fact".  Click here to start the lesson.  

Art:  Your art activity is to finish the picture you started yesterday.  You can color in the pot with markers then use watercolors to paint in the background if you have paints.  If you do not, use crayons, colored pencils.  Make sure you outline the pot and background first with a permanent marker first before you color.  Have fun with this activity.  Click here to see some finished projects.
