Welcome:   Another day of learning!  We are on our way with this video .

Reading:  Today I need you to get out your graphic organizer we started yesterday so we can do our prereading activity.  Click here for this activity.  Next, go to the unit 8 reader and reread chapter 1.  If you can read this to someone in your house, please do.  If not, read it on your own.  Then get out activity 1.1, page 1 in your unit 8 CKLA book.  Complete this page and then click here to check your work. Finally, get the book that had the "Native American Regions" map.  Watch this video to see our next assignment in this book.

Writing:  After reading Chapter 1, "Etu the Hunter" we are going to write a paragraph about this Ancient Native American culture using our graphic organizer we made in reading.  Get your graphic organizer and your Ancient Native American workbook.  Find the writing pages near the back of the book.  Click here for the lesson.


Math:  We will do lesson 10.5 ,pages 585 - 590, in our math books today.  Have your pages ready for this lesson.  I have created videos for each page of the lesson.  Click on the page # for the lesson.  It will be the page front and back.  here are the videos, page 585-586  ,   587-588.  Click here for the math on the spot video for number 6 on the on your own part of your assignment.   I have not done an instruction video for the practice page.  I would like you to do that on your own first and then go to the video to check your work.  Make sure you do the practice page on your own first so your brain can grow!!!  Click here to check your practice page (589 - 590) when you have completed it. Continue to work on you times tables.  You may copy the times table sheets and practice them as often as necessary.
