Next week is Spring Break so I will not be posting any new lessons until Monday April 20. There will also be a drop off of finished work and a pick up of needed materials for the next 2 weeks of instruction on April 20th. Here is a list of the assignments I would like you to turn in on Monday, April 20.
1. Bring back any library books or take home library books (book in the bag)
2. Return the ruler that I sent home with you a few weeks ago.
3. Math assignments:
Time packet with elapsed time and time practice pages (if you already turned this in last time do not worry about it for this time.)
Lessons 10.5, midchapter checkpoint, 10.6 and 10.7 from your math booik. You can remove these from your math book to turn in. You will need to keep the math book at home.
4. Reading: Please turn in the questions from unit reader 8. These include:
"Etu the Hunter", 1.1, page 1
"Adoette and Awan, the Bird Chasers", 2.1, page 7
"Akando and Aponi, the Gatherers", 3.1, page 13
"Alemeda, the Basket Weaver", 4.1, page 27
Also turn in the graphic organziers for each chapter that we created in our prereading activities.

Welcome: Yea! It's Friday and we made it through another week! Here is the link to get started.
Reading: For reading today, I have provided a link to the Explorer National geographic Magazine.
First you will need to open these documents : Content assessment, Snapshot of Space questions. Print off these documents and have them ready for the reading activity. Click here for instructions about this activity.
Next, Go to the link I have provided. You will need the password which is: space
This will take you to the online Explorer magazine. You can explore the magazine, but the article I would like you to read is: "Snapshot of Space". Complete the activities about the reading.

Skills: For your skills lesson you will need activity PP8 in your Unit 8 CKLA workbook. Click here for the instructions. After you have finished this activity you can click here to check your work.
Math: You will complete lesson 10.7 today in your math book. You will need to get pages 599- 604.
When you have completed your practice page, go to this link to correct your work.
Listening and Learning: The listening and learning lesson will begin with the itroduction. You will need your booklet out to follow and fill in the blanks. We are doing page 7 today. Here is the link for the introduction. The lesson is at this link. After you have completed the lesson, here is a link to correct your booklet. Finally, you will need your Ancient Native American workbook and will need to turn to the next blank region page. Here is the link for this lesson.
