Reading:  We will read chapter 2, "Second Sons".  You will need activity 2.1, page 9 from your Unit 9 workbook.  Click here for a pre reading activity.  Click here to read the chapter.  Next click here to complete activity 2.1.  Enjoy this chapter.

The last activity we will do with reading is 2.2, page 11 in your unit 9 workbook.  This will be an interesting activity in which you will be able to create your own family tree.  Have this page ready to complete this activity.  Click here to get started.

Skills:  Today we will learn about the prefixes anti- and pro-.  Remember, a prefix is located at the beginning of a word.  You will need activity 3.3, page 21 and 3.5, page 25 from your Unit 9 workbook.  First you will need activity 3.3.  Click here for the lesson.  Next you will need 3.5.  Click here for the lesson.


Math:  You started learning about finding perimeter from measurements.  Today, we will do the lesson in your book.  You will need pages 631 -636.  Have these pages ready to begin.  We will start with pages 631-633.  Click here for the lesson.  Next click here to finish pages 633-634 and prepare for your independent work.  Finally, click here to correct your indpendent work.
