Welcome:  We have a wonderful day ahead of us!  Here we go!

Reading: Today we will do our 2nd reading of chapter 6, "Meda and Flo, the Forest Children".  Get your graphic organizer we started yesterday and also get activity 6.1, page 47 from your unit 8 workbook and be ready to do our pre reading activity.  Click here to do the pre reading activity.
Next, read chapter 6 in your unit 8 reader.
When you are done, answer the quesitons on activity 6.1, page 47 from your Unit 8 workbook.
After you have finished your questions, click here to correct your work.
Finally, get out your Native American workbook and turn to the artifacts page and click here for this activity.

Math:  We will do lesson 10.9 today.  Get out pages 611- 616.  We will be doing these pages today.  Click here to begin pages 611 - 612.  Next click here to do pages 613-614 and an introduction to pages 615 - 616.  When you have finished your independent work, click here to correct your work.

Listening and Learing:  For our lesson you will need your Native American workbook.  Turn to the venn diagram that compares you and Native Americans.  We will doing a comparison to our culture with the culture of ancient Native Americans.  Click here to get started.

Art: For this activity you will need the white art paper I sent home with you awhile back.  It is an outline of a pot on it.  Click here to see the example.  You will need a pencil for today and a black marker if you have one.  Click here to for the lesson.  To see the Native American symbols click here.
