Welcome:  I hope you are ready for another awesome day of learning!  Here we go!

Reading:  For reading today we will do a prereading activity to finish our graphic organizer and do a 2nd reading of chapter 3, "Akando and Aponi, the Gathers".   Have your graphic oraanizer ready and click here for the prereading activity.  Next, read chapter 3, pages 24 - 33.  When you have completed reading chapter 3, get out activity 3.1, page 13 in your Unit 8 workbook.  Complete the questions.  Make sure you answer in complete sentences on questions 1 and 2.   Click here to check your work after you have completed your assignment.  Remember,  do the work first before checking so your brain can grow and you can learn and increase your reading skills!  I know you will do your best!

Skills:  Our skills lesson will be on Possessive Pronouns.  You will need activity 4.2, page 29 out of your Unit 8 workbook.  To begin this lesson, watch the instruction video, click here.  Next, get activity 4.2 and have it ready and click here to begin this activity.

Writing:  Today, we will continue our paragraph about chapter 2 " Adoette and Awan".  Have our Ancient Native American workbook ready and turn to the writing we began yesterday.  Also have your graphic organizer ready.  Click here to get started.

Math:  We will do lesson 10.6 in your math book today.  You will need pages 593 -598.  Have these pages ready for out lesson today. You will also need the ruler I sent home with you a few weeks ago.  Get that ready to use.
First, you will need to watch the instruction video on measuring with your ruler to the nearest 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch.  Click here for those instructions.
